I turned 40 on NYE 2023.
The whole world celebrated for me. 🤩
(They do it every year without me asking lol).

Turning 40 means I am as old as I can remember.😆

When I was 20, 40 felt impossible to imagine.
When I was 30, 40 felt intimidating.
When I was 39, 40 felt inevitable.

So I embraced it:
Fully, wholeheartedly, unapologetically.

𝗠𝘆 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
I laugh loud, I laugh a lot, I laugh (almost) daily
You can see the proof along my smile and laugh lines.

If I continue being me,
I must continue:
• smiling.
• laughing.
• growing wrinkles.

The world does not define my story.
I do. My experiences do.
My winkles do.
